Krimbo joins BIG main roster
The German esports organization BIG has announced changes to the main CS:GO roster by inviting Krimbo from the youth team. The 19-year-old player is called to replace k1to, who will play for the BIG Academy from now on.
Statement by Roman Reinhardt, head of the organization's CS:GO division:
I am happy to announce that Karim “Krimbo” Moussa is the first player to be tried out by the main CS:GO team from our BIG OMEN Academy project. Karim has shown his ability in several iterations of the academy roster and has proven that he deserves this chance. This change means that Nils “k1to” Grune will be moving to the BIG OMEN Academy team for the time being and will support the further development of our talent there.
Krimbo is a BIG Academy alumnus, having first joined the club in early 2020. However, the 19-year-old esportsman spent the entire last season in wealthy teams, gaining experience on the adult scene. However, at the beginning of this year, Krimbo returned to BIG Academy, taking on the role of captain and leader. Together with the team, the young player took second place in the WePlay Academy League Season 3, and also made it to the TOP-4 at the ANATY Invitational.
It should be noted that Krimbo has already tried himself as a BIG member, playing with the team as part of the qualification for PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR.
In turn, k1to has been playing for BIG since January 2020. In two seasons, the 23-year-old German player helped the team win DreamHack Open Leipzig 2020, DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Europe and DreamHack Open Summer 2020: Europe, as well as a number of other championships.
The next tournament for BIG with the updated roster will be ESL Pro League Season 15. The German team will play in the same group with Team Liquid, GODSENT, Movistar Riders, Party Astronauts and Players (Gambit).
The BIG roster for ESL Pro League Season 15 is as follows:
- tabseN.
- tiziaN.
- syrsoN.
- Crimbo.
- faveN.
- enkay J (coach).
