OverDrive: VP.Prodigy said goodbye to RuFire

According to an OverDrive insider, VP.Prodigy said goodbye to RuFire. In the near future, we should expect an official announcement from the eSports organization. At the time of publication of the material, the management of VP.Prodigy and the esportsman himself did not confirm the rumor about the termination of cooperation.

RuFire joined VP.Prodigy in March last year. The 26-year-old Russian esportsman was one of those who personally supervised the search for players for the team. It should be noted that, together with the Russian team, the player was among the top three winners at ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Autumn 2021 #1, and also took part in three seasons of the WePlay Academy League. However, in other championships, VP.Prodigy did not achieve much success, while RuFire himself remained among the team's worst players in terms of statistical parameters.

The last tournament for the 26-year-old esportsman as part of the team was WePlay Academy League Season 3. According to its results, VP.Prodigy took 5-6th place, stopping a step away from reaching the finals of the tournament in Kiev.

The team is expected to make an official statement before the start of ESEA Season 40: Advanced Division - Europe. The championship itself will start on January 31st.
