ESL Unveils Women's Championship Series

Tournament operator ESL has unveiled a series of championships for women's teams by launching an initiative called "#GG FOR ALL". The initiative aims to tackle discrimination, improve mental health and increase environmental sustainability in esports.

In general, the roadmap for the competition is as follows.

In total, more than twenty championships are planned, including two LAN tournaments. The new leagues will feature eight teams in both Europe and North America, with prize pools of $ 150,000 per season.

The top three teams from both regions, as well as one South American and one Asia-Pacific team that passed the open qualifiers, will participate in the Global League Finals as part of DreamHack Dallas (3-5 June 2022) and DreamHack Winter (24-26 November 2022).
