Rex Regum Qeon wins Wild Circuit Asian Invitational 2022
The Wild Circuit Asian Invitational 2022 has come to an end. As part of the championship, which was held online from September 5 to 9, eight teams from Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and Taiwan fought for a prize pool of $40,000. The winner of the tournament was the Rex Regum Qeon team, which in the grand final was stronger than KT Rolster with a score of 3:2.
The championship for the Philippine team began with a not very successful performance at the group stage, during which he lost to KT Rolster (0:2), but got victories over Buriram United Esports (2:1) and SANDBOX Gaming (2:0), and together with that, he advanced to the playoffs.
Here, Rex Regum Qeon first managed to outplay Freecs (3:2), and then took the long-awaited revenge on KT Rolster (3:2) and became the champion of the Wild Circuit Asian Invitational 2022.
Note that in the match for the 3rd place, the Freecs team turned out to be stronger than Team Flash (3:1).
