Zelo and Starting join Immortals on loan
North American esports organization Immortals has announced the signing of Zelo and Starting on loan. Information about replenishment in the team was shared by the current player of the club IraqiZorro. Both esportsmen will help the team at the upcoming Icons Global Championship 2022, replacing the aforementioned IraqiZorro and Hoon.
In a few hours, the guys are flying to Singapore to compete at the Icons Global Championship 2022. Unfortunately, Hoon and I will not attend the championship due to visa issues and other travel difficulties. As a result, Zelo and Starting will replace us. We will be rooting for you from home with very high hopes!!
Zelo is an active player of Cloud9. Together with the team, the 22-year-old American won Code Red Wild Rift 1 and Fight Night Rift - Week 9, but failed in the North America Series 2022 Season 1, failing to get to the main championship of the season.
In turn, Starting spent the last year as part of Tribe Gaming NA, together with which he became the winner of the Trovo Invitational Birthday Bash - North America, Summoner Series Finals 2021 and North America Series 2022 Season 1: Major 3. However, the organization disbanded the roster after the end of the season, thereby freeing the 18-year-old American from contractual obligations.
Icons Global Championship 2022 will take place from June 14 to July 9 in Singapore at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre. 24 participants from all over the world will compete for a prize pool of $2,000,000.
The Immortals roster for the Icons Global Championship 2022 is as follows:
- Lebmont.
- Gume.
- Charm.
- Zelo (stand-in).
- Starting (stand-in).
- PYU (coach).
