Major changes in patch 2.08
Riot Games has released a new patch 2.08 for VALORANT, in which it prepared the basis for future updates, and also officially presented the Breeze map. In addition, the game has begun the second episode of the third act of the content updates.
The most interesting, as usual, concerns the cards. The Breeze map is now available in the game. For two weeks after release, the map will be available in a separate unranked game search. It is noted that during this period there will be no Breeze cards in standard no rank games or in ranked games. After two weeks, the separate search for Breeze will disappear and the new map will appear in unranked and ranked games.
Game systems update:
- A trainer slot has been officially added. The coach's ability is limited to observing the selected team, chatting and pausing the match.
Changing social opportunities:
- Added notifications of complaints.
- From now on, for the first violation of Community Rules, players will receive a warning reminder of these rules.
Bug fixes and bugs:
- Fixed a bug due to which rank icons were not displayed in the history of matches.
- Fixed a bug due to which the icons of inactive "Turrets" and "Alarmbot" Killjoy disappeared from the minimap.
- Improved the visual effects of Astra's abilities at low graphics quality settings.
- Fixed an issue that caused Astra and Brimstone smoke screens to block outbreaks even if the player was not fully stepped into the smoke.
At the same time, users noticed flaws and new bugs. For example, players have complained about PC crashes and freezes, while in North America there is an incorrect determination of the ranks. The developers promised to solve the problems soon.
