Version1 Reveals New Female VALORANT Roster
North American esports organization Version1 has unveiled a new VALORANT roster. It is noteworthy that the club has signed an expanded roster that will compete both in the Game Changers series and on the main Challengers stage.
The organization's first signing was sarah. The Canadian previously played for the Immortals team, with whom she won the Knights Arena Sakura Cup #9, and also reached the finals of the Knights Arena Sakura Cup #6. Together with her, florescent joined Version1 - a 16-year-old Canadian previously played for Misfits Black, where she won the Knights Arena Sakura Cup #8 and Super Girl Gamer Pro - Summer 2022: Championships, and also took third place in the VCT 2022: Game Changers North America Series 3.
The third newcomer to the club was Noia. The 18-year-old Dane spent last season with XSET Purple, with whom she took third place at Super Girl Gamer Pro - Summer 2022: Championships.
The main additions to the new Version1 line-up were alexis and meL. Previously, the girls successfully played for the Cloud9 White team, where they became the champions of VCT 2021: Game Changers North America Series 1, VCT 2021: Game Changers North America Series 2, VCT 2021: Game Changers North America Series 3, VCT 2022: Game Changers North America Series 1, VCT 2022: Game Changers North America Series 2 and VCT 2022: Game Changers North America Series 3, and placed fourth in the VCT 2022: Game Changers Championship.
Since Version1 didn't make it into the partnerships and all parts of last year's roster have moved to other teams, the organization has decided to focus on a new team that will look to participate in both the Game Changers and the Challengers series in 2023.
The debut of the North American team will take place as part of the open qualifiers for VALORANT Challengers 2023: North America Split 1, which will end on January 13.
