Carpe Completes T1's VALORANT Roster
South Korean esports organization T1 has officially completed its VALORANT roster by signing a contract with Carpe. Coinciding with a transfer to a new team, the 24-year-old South Korean is leaving Overwatch to assess his strength for the 2023 VCT season.

Carpe has previously been a prominent presence in the Overwatch scene. The 24-year-old South Korean esportsman has spent the last five years with the Philadelphia Fusion, with whom he made it to the top three in the Overwatch League - Inaugural Season Playoffs, Overwatch League - 2019 Stage 1 Playoffs, Overwatch League 2020 - Summer Showdown, Overwatch League 2022 - Kickoff Clash and Overwatch League 2022 - Summer Showdown.
The T1 organization was among the partners to participate in the VCT 2023 in Asia. The South Korean club will fight in the same League along with ZETA DIVISION, Global Esports, Gen.G Esports, DRX, DetonatioN Gaming, Team Secret, Rex Regum Qeon, Paper Rex and Talon Esports.
Note that these are not the first changes in the composition of T1 - earlier the club signed Ban, Sayaplayer and BeomJun, and also said goodbye to thwifo and steel.
It is still unknown when the full-fledged debut of the team will take place. However, currently the nearest T1 championship is VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Kickoff Tournament.
