Rumors: KOI will assemble an all-star cast around Sheydos and koldamenta
According to the BLIX.GG and Dot Esports portals, the Spanish esports organization KOI intends to seriously shake up its VALORANT team ahead of the start of the next season. In particular, the club intends to invite some well-known players and introduce a new coaching staff in order to appear as a combat-ready unit in the European League.
It is reported that the team's new coach will be BARBARR, who has worked with Guild Esports for the last two seasons. Together with him, koldamenta, who also comes from the British club, will join KOI. At the same time, the 29-year-old Spaniard played the last season with the team, having managed to take third place at VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers.
KOI's next signing should be Sheydos, who previously played for the M3 Champions team. Together with the team, the 21-year-old Russian esportsman became the champion of VCT 2021: CIS Stage 1 Masters, VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs and VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin.
Together with them, starxo, a former Acend player, will join the team. Here, the 21-year-old Pole spent a year and a half, managing to win VCT 2021: Europe Stage 1 Masters, LVP - Rising Series - Finale and VALORANT Champions 2021.
KOI is one of the most popular esports organizations in Spain, led by celebrity and streamer Ibay Llanos. At the same time, the club got into the affiliate program, which will also feature Team Vitality, Karmine Corp, FUT Esports, BBL Esports, Fnatic, Team Liquid, NAVI, Team Heretics and Giants Gaming.
At the same time, it is unclear whether there will be additional changes, as well as who will remain in the team from the previous roster.
