Valorant will have a new agent class "Specialists"

John Gosicki, producer of the esports agent development team, appeared on the Valorant developer blog and made an interesting announcement. He told the first official details about the new character that will appear in the game.

Gosicki said that the 21st agent will be in the "Specialist" class and will accompany the agents of Viper, Omen, Brimstone and Astra there.

According to John, ideas for new agents come to the developers' minds approximately 12-14 months before they appear in the game. The decision to make a new specialist is due to the fact that there have not been changes there for a long time. The last hero released in this direction was Astra.

Thus, Riot Games came to the conclusion that the four heroes of the “Specialist” branch are no longer enough and new ones need to be added.

The new hero will be a character who will specialize in the elements of water. Thus, with the help of this element, he will be able to perform the same functions as all other specialists - cut off the approach of his opponents and limit movement around the map with abilities that work in the area.

Riot Games have promised to share the details of the 21st Agent in the near future, as the new character will soon be ready to appear in Valorant, according to them.

Also at the end of the address, John Gosicki left a phrase in Hindi “Jald hi milte hain”, which means “See you soon”. Based on this, we can conclude that the developers left a reference to the country of origin of the new hero. The new agent will most likely be a native of India.
