Japanese esports organization REJECT has announced a roster change for the VALORANT discipline, signing a deal with takej. Previously, the 21-year-old Japanese esportsman played for the ZETA DIVISION team.

takej entered the professional scene back in April 2020, joining Absolute JUPITER. Together with the team, the esportsman became the winner of RAGE Invitational, RAGE Japan Tournament, GALLERIA GLOBAL CHALLENGE 2020, AW EXTREME MASTERS Pro Invitational, Mildom Masters, First Strike Japan, VCT 2021: Japan Stage 1 Challengers 1, VCT 2021: Japan Stage 1 Challengers 2 and VCT 2021: Japan Stage 2 Challengers 1.

In the summer of 2021, the team was renamed ZETA DIVISION, while the roster continued to win at VCT 2021: Japan Stage 3 Challengers 1 and VCT 2021: Japan Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs to qualify for VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin. However, in the fall, the 21-year-old Japanese esportsman was banned for three months due to violation of the community code, after which he was transferred to the reserve team.
