Immortals parted ways with Kehmicals
Immortals have announced the departure of Kehmicals from the core team. The organization announced this on its Twitter. Note that the 18-year-old Canadian player has been playing for Immortals since January 2021.
“Today we are parting ways with Kehmicals. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors. His passion and talent stood out from day one and we are grateful to have worked with him,” theorganization wrote.
Kehmicals became part of Immortals early in the season after the roster went through a rebuilding phase. Together with the team, the 18-year-old Canadian player immediately showed strong results, finishing second at VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 1, and also hitting the TOP-3 at VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 2.
However, in subsequent championships, Immortals were unable to maintain a high pace without reaching VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers 2. The last Kehmicals tournament for the team was BoomTV Proving Grounds # 2, in which Immortals, having reached the quarterfinals, could not cope with Soniqs (1: 2).
Despite this announcement, Immortals still have enough players to participate in tournaments. Recall that in August, the team invited EmilShe1n, with whom they played several championships, in particular, winning the Community Gaming Premier Series Finale.
From now on, the roster of Immortals looks like this:
- Genghsta.
- ShoT_UP.
- Rossy.
- JonahP.
- EmilShe1n.
- Packing10 (trainer).
