

The Taipei Game Show 2024 commenced at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center on January 25, 2024, spanning the 4th and 5th floors. Despite a concurrent cold wave, visitors exhibited unwavering enthusiasm. Some even braved the chilly winds overnight to secure limited early bird gifts.
This year's exhibition, the largest in the past three years, saw the participation of 377 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions. The B2C Zone showcased over 300 games, including unreleased titles from major international developers and publishers, highlighting new releases.
The B2B Zone was equally vibrant, witnessing a stream of business visitors eager to obtain their badges on the first day. The networking space and public meeting rooms in the B2B Zone were teeming with industry professionals, and the Asia Pacific Game Summit drew full audiences for all 9 speeches and panels on the first day.
The opening of the 4th-floor venue featured game developers and publishers going all out to welcome visitors. Kapra from GRAVITY COMMUNICATIONS's Ragnarok ORIGIN kicked off the event with a lively dance. The 3D RPG game Zenless Zone Zero attracted a long line of eager visitors.
Nintendo, as the largest console booth, created a themed area showcasing popular titles like Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Pikmin 4, and The Legend of Zelda, along with a lineup of 20 unreleased games. The booth buzzed with crowds trying out consoles and meeting favorite characters at photo meet-and-greets.

Bandai Namco Entertainment presented spectacular events, featuring appearances by producers and development teams behind new releases like NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS, MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2, and Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash. The global debut of the Nintendo Switch version of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Premium Edition delighted fans.
Indie House, the haven for indie games, boasted its largest edition ever with over 150 games. Gamers flocked to various booths for trial plays, and Shuhei Yoshida, Head of Indies Initiative of Sony Interactive Entertainment, expressed appreciation for the section's significant expansion.

TheTaipei Game Show Stage & ONLINE Show featured over 20 esports competitions and events, with highlights like the "Fight at TGS STAGE" combat event, Blade & Soul 2, the ROG "League of Legends" 1v1 Arena, and the "Just Dance 2024" TGS Entertainment Contest with a substantial prize pool. In addition to offline activities, the Taipei Game Show ONLINE brought exciting content to online gamers, including interactive stages linked to the exhibition site, featuring events from Bandai Namco Entertainment's TEKKEN 8 and FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH.
