archie may become a Moist Esports player
According to Shiftrle.gg, the North American esports organization Moist Esports plans to sign a contract with archie. The 17-year-old Englishman is a prime target for the club, who are aiming to complete their Rocket League roster following the departure of Vatira.
After the young Frenchman left Moist Esports and reportedly already joined Karmine Corp, one of last season's most successful teams had to urgently look for a new player.
archie started last season as part of SMPR Esports, with which he managed to get into the top three at RLCS 2021-22 - Fall: EU Regional Event 3 - European Grand Prix and Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - Fall Split Major. However, already in the spring, the Englishman was loaned out at Endpoint CeX, where he took third place at RLCS 2021-22 - Spring: EU Regional Event 3 - Super 16, and also performed at the last Major of the season and the World Championship.
However, over the summer, the British club announced they were parting ways with the players, leaving archie at a crossroads.
Replacing Vatira will not be an easy task for Moist Esports as he was the European RLCS MVP last season as well as the Spring Major defensive MVP. His strong play at both ends of the field was critical to the team's success as he had all sorts of ratings.
However, the young Englishman is a multifaceted player much like Vatira as he led the way in goals per game at the Spring Major and saves per game at the World Championship.
The likely composition of Moist Esports in the Rocket League discipline:
- Joyo
- archie
- rise
- noah (coach)
