The European Commission has approved the agreement between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard
The agreement between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard has been approved by the European Commission, as reported on the official website of the regulatory body.
The positive decision of the commission has influenced Microsoft's collaboration with other companies, including Nvidia, Boosteroid, Ubitus, Nintendo, and others. The European Commission believes that due to these agreements, the American company will not gain an advantage in the cloud gaming market.
Furthermore, the commission has concluded that Activision games will continue to be available for Sony consoles. The commission considers that the exclusivity of certain projects will also not impact competition, as there are four PlayStations for every Xbox purchased.
