Outsiders updated their Rainbow Six roster ahead of the start of qualification for the Six Invitational 2023
The Outsiders esports team updated its Rainbow Six roster before the start of the closed European qualifier for the Six Invitational 2023. As part of the changes, the team said goodbye to Rask and m1loN, invited ShepparD and moved JoyStiCK from the position of head coach. In addition, Zheka has been appointed as the new coach of the Outsiders.
After the unsatisfactory results of the season, we decided to make global changes in the roster and invite four players who previously played for Team Empire. But in that transfer window, we could only sign two players and a coach, although ShepparD was signed along with everyone in September. After talking with the players, we decided on the optimal composition for Stage 3, and JoyStiCK remained as a coach and substitute player.
ShepparD is a very smart and experienced player who makes no sense to introduce to the Rainbow Six audience: he has long been known as one of the best supports in the world. I am sure that he will help us to successfully qualify for SI 2023 in January and the next EUL season. Zheka has been working with the guys for a long time and already knows how to influence this or that player, so the choice as a coach was obvious.
We want to say a big thank you and wish good luck in their future careers to Alan and Andrey. They are great players who gave a lot to our club. We are sure that they will be able to strengthen any team.
Rask and m1loN have been playing for Virtrus.pro (Outsiders) for more than two years. Together they managed to get into the TOP-3 at the Six November 2020 Major - Europe, European League 2020 - Finals and Russian Major League Season 7. However, the last season turned out to be a failure for the team, which missed all the majors and also did not receive a direct ticket at the Six Invitational 2023.
The first newcomer to Outsiders is ShepparD, who has been playing for Team Empire for many years. Here, the 24-year-old player managed to win Pro League Season 9 - Finals, Six Major Raleigh 2019 and European League 2021 - Stage 2, as well as reach the finals of the Six Invitational 2019 and Six Invitational 2022.
The latest addition to the roster was JoyStiCK, who has led the Outsiders for the past three months. At the same time, Danil also played for Team Empire earlier, having achieved the above successes. The new head coach of the Outsiders is Zheka, who has worked as an analyst and coach for Team Empire for more than two years.
With the updated roster, the team will begin preparations for the closed European qualifier for the Six Invitational 2023, which will take place at the end of January.
