ENCE parts ways with PUBG roster
Finnish esports organization ENCE has announced changes to its PUBG roster, saying goodbye to coach SENTEX, NOOKIE and Mise. Only SKUIJKE and Skav remained in the starting lineup, around whom the new lineup is expected to be built next year. The club promised to provide details at the beginning of 2023.
If anything is certain in esports, it's change - and now it's time to make some major changes to our PUBG roster. I want to thank NOOKIE and Mise for spending time with ENCE. Unfortunately, we have never been able to achieve the success that they or we aspired to. I wish all the best to both of them.
I want to express my special thanks to the longtime coach of our SENTEX team. Together we won PUBG Pro League Season 1 and he has been a core part of the team for a long time. We now believe that changes are needed to start the whole project from scratch, and unfortunately it is time for SENTEX to leave. I sincerely hope that you will also succeed in your projects later on. Best wishes to you.
Niklas Oyalainen, General Manager of ENCE
Last season, the Finnish team looked much weaker than before. In particular, back in August, the organization made two changes to its composition, but failed to achieve success. As a result, ENCE won bronze at the Frag League Nordic Championship S8 Playoff and also failed at PUBG Continental Series 7: Europe.
Moreover, the team did not make it to the final PUBG Global Championship 2022, taking only 12th place in the European leaderboard.
Now, the Finnish organization will reportedly be evaluating its options for the future to provide more details on the roster early next year.
