GODV announces retirement from PUBG
Chinese player GODV has announced his retirement from PUBG esports. The former member of the Four Angry Men announced this on his personal page.
Hello everyone, one thing is announced today: I have decided to retire. There are reasons for health reasons, as well as family problems. From joining Vici Gaming in League of Legends in 2012 to creating the Four Angry Men to move to PUBG in 2017, it's been a full ten years of my entire career.
There are gains and losses, but how big is the life impact of these ten years? Looking back, every step is precious. Here I would like to thank the fans for their support and all my teammates. Thank you for always rooting for me and accompanying me through all my ups and downs. I really, really appreciate you.
Life gave me a new identity - a husband and a father. I want to experience all the surprises that life has given me, so I made this decision today, but my dream has no end. I look forward to meeting you next time!
GODV moved to PUBG in 2017 after moving from the League of Legends discipline. Here he played for the Four Angry Men team, with whom he won the TMC Global Invitational 2021, PUBG Champions League 2021: Spring, PUBG Champions League 2020: Fall and PUBG China Pro Invitational 2018 TPP Championship, and also made it to the top three at PUBG Global Championship 2019, PUBG Asia Invitational G-Star 2017 - Squad and PUBG Asia Invitational G-Star 2017 - Squad.
As GODV said in his post, he now wants to focus on his family while raising a child. At the same time, the esportsman left the Four Angry Men in October, thus facilitating the work of the team in the off-season.
