Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022: Starfield, Redfall, Kojima and more

The presentation began with a demonstration of Redfall gameplay . Arkane Austin noted that this is a beta version of the game. Blizzard has released a new trailer for Overwatch 2. The company announced that the game will be a free-to-play project. Early access will open on October 4th.

Forza Horizon 5 will get a collaboration with Hot Wheels, with which games in the series have had regular collaborations in the past. The game will add new tracks and cars inspired by the popular series of toys. It will be possible to ride on the track already on July 19th.

Obsidian have shared a new trailer for Grounded. This is a garden survival simulator as children who have been reduced to the size of insects. The game has been in early access since 2020. The release of the full version, as well as the story campaign, will take place in September this year.

Ereban: Shadow Legacy is a stealth action game with parkour elements. The game is scheduled for release in 2023.

Blizzard talked about another class in the upcoming Diablo 4 - the necromancer. A whole trailer has been dedicated to him. Compared to previous games on the Creation Engine, the developers from Bethesda managed to significantly improve the facial animation. The game will feature different factions to join, reminiscent of Fallout New Vegas. Traditionally for Bethesda games, you will be able to create your own character. According to Todd Howard, Starfield will have the most detailed protagonist editor of any Bethesda game. Weapons the player can change at their discretion. It will be possible to create your own ship with pumping, customization, and so on. In space, there will also be enemies with whom it will be possible to fight. The dynamics of space fights can be described as average. Starfield will release in 2023 on Xbox platforms and Xbox Game Pass.
