CISCO became one of the general partners of LoL Esports

Riot Games announced the start of a long-term partnership with global giant Cisco. The partnership between the company aims to improve the Riot discipline's esports infrastructure.

According to the companies' experts, cooperation will improve the quality of the network at the championships by about 200 {{. Outside broadcasting centers will also be built in all regions hosting the Riot franchise championships.

Several leading CISCO technologies will be used to achieve the goals. One of the key ones is The Realm. These servers will improve the performance within the game and significantly reduce the response time.

The companies also plan to improve their regional broadcast centers. Riot will install over 200 new servers to host competitions across all League of Legends esports regions. In addition, the companies are preparing a global data warehouse for Riot Games objects.
