IgNar will join Immortals
According to journalist Alejandro Gomis, the North American esports organization Immortals plans to strengthen its position in League of Legends by signing a contract with IgNar. The 25-year-old South Korean esportsman has already signed a contract with the club, which will be announced soon.
IgNar made a name for himself back in 2017 when he reached the quarter-finals of the 2017 World Championship with the Misfits. The 25-year-old South Korean spent the last season with Evil Geniuses, with whom he took third place in the LCS Lock-In 2021, and also got into the TOP-6 at LCS Spring 2021 and LCS Summer 2021.
However, with this addition, the North American club will face another problem related to the limit on foreign players. Probably, Immortals will have to look for a new jungler, whose position is now occupied by Xerxe. While IgNar will become the team's new support, the organization will also have to say goodbye to Destiny.
The last championship for the team was the LCS Spring 2022, which saw Immortals finish in last place, finishing the regular season with 5 wins and 13 losses.
Immortals' current League of Legends roster is as follows:
- Revenge.
- xerxe.
- PowerOfEvil.
- wildturtle.
- Destiny.
- Malaclypse (coach)
