Netflix Games launches League of Legends spin-off

Most recently, the media giant Netflix announced the opening of a gaming division that will start its journey from the mobile market, and now it has already announced the start of work on an interesting project. Netflix Games are going to release two games to please gamers, and one of them will be a League of Legends spin-off.

What distinguishes Netflix Games from other game publishers is the absence of ads in games, which is not very common for games on Android and iOS. The start of the Netflix Games journey leaves much to be desired, but in 2022 the company begins to rapidly gain momentum. With the arrival of two new games, the total number of titles has been increased to 12. Newcomers to the mobile games store are Hyper Hippo's Dungeon Dwarves and Riot Games' Hextech Mayhem. The first developers are famous for their game AdVenture Capitalist, and Riot Games needs no introduction.

Hextech Mayhem - A League of Legends Story is not a MOBA game, as many might think, but a side-scrolling runner (with a side view). The developers of the project were Choice Provision. Despite appearing on the Netflix Games service, the game is not exclusive to the Netflix service and can also be played on PC and Nintendo Switch.

Dungeon Dwarves, in turn, has become a Netflix Games exclusive. It is an idle rpg that does not require a lot of action from the players to achieve results.

So far, the success of Netflix Games leaves much to be desired, but the arrival of a game from Riot Games in their store could change the situation in the market. Once Netflix Games has a foothold in the mobile market, the company's management will be able to change the direction of development and in the future we can see titles on PC and the name Netflix Games.
