Four is better than one - Afreeca Freecs signed with Teddy, Hoit, FATE and Ellim
Afreeca Freecs have added several new faces to represent the esports club banner for the upcoming League of Legends season. The announcement of the changes took place on the organization's Twitter account.
Pak 'Teddy' Jin-sung Ryu 'Hoit' Ho-sung Yoo 'Fate' Soo-hyuk and Choi 'Ellim' El-Lim will now play under the Afreeca Freecs tag. The latter, by the way, recently left T1, which you can read about here. For Teddy and Hoit, playing with Ellim will not be anything new, as they played with Choi El Lim under the T1 tag last season. On November 15 and 16, it became known that Teddy and Hoit were leaving T1. FATE, in turn, represented the banners of SANDBOX Gaming until November 16.
At the moment, nothing is known about the further fate of cybersportsmen who now have valid contracts with the organization. These are Kim 'Kiin' Gi-in, Han 'Leo' Gyo-re, and Kim 'MapSSi' Yong. About whom something is definitely known is about Citrus and Moon, with whom the club's management decided to re-sign contracts without waiting for their completion. The management of the organization praised the esportsmen for their excellent results at the LCK Challenger League Summer 2021, where the academic staff took 2nd place, and expressed their hope for winning the next League of Legends championship.
The Afreeca Freecs League of Legends starter now has seven players. It looks like this:
- Kim 'Kiin' Gi-in
- Han 'Leo' Gyo-re
- Kim 'MapSSi' Yong
- Pak 'Teddy' Jin Sung
- Ryu 'Hoit' Ho-sung
- Yoo 'Fate' Soo-hyuk
- Choi 'Ellim' El-Lim
