The changes in the format of HGC for 2018 gave a chance to the teams from Taiwan and Southeast Asia. Teams from both regions will play a series of qualifying matches, starting from April 14, to determine the best teams from each region. These two teams will go to Taipei, where they will determine who will advance to compete with the best HGC teams.
