Blizzard Ends Content Support for Heroes of the Storm
Blizzard company on the official website congratulated its offspring on the seventh anniversary of the date of creation. The post contains information about the future of Heroes of the Storm and a short message to the fans.
According to the developers, support for the game will continue at the same level as StarCraft I and II. This means that previously familiar heroes and events will be preserved, but there are no plans to add innovations. Also, mostly new patches will be rare, and more focused on optimization and combating various game bugs, and sometimes there will be changes in the balance of heroes.
In honor of the holiday, players will be able to get a unique epic vehicle by simply logging into the game after the release of the update.
Thanks to all Heroes of the Storm players! You remain one of our most passionate communities, and we are grateful for your support and dedication to the game, and as always, we can't wait to see you back in the Nexus.
We would like to remind you that earlier, in mid-January 2018, Blizzard announced the termination of support for the game in terms of eSports tournaments. This event caused a negative response from both ordinary players and participants in the pro scene. The main reason for making such a decision was called “optimization of resources within the company”.
