There's even a Mr. Meeseeks box borrowed from Rick and Morty. Despite these hidden gems, one particular reference continues to perplex fans, with 343 Industries yet to provide clear answers. The enigma centers around Locke's helmet and whether it signifies the character's demise.

The Locke reference in Halo Infinite remains shrouded in uncertainty. Before the game's release, a range of Halo Mega Construx sets hit the market, and one of these sets featured a Brute leader named Hyperius. Upon closer inspection, fans spotted what appeared to be Agent Jameson Locke's helmet on Hyperius' shoulder. This unexpected leak triggered a wave of speculations about Locke's fate in Halo Infinite. However, when the game was eventually launched, players indeed encountered Hyperius, who displayed Locke's Spartan helmet and chestpiece on his shoulder. Yet, the game provided no answers regarding Locke's whereabouts or the circumstances surrounding his helmet's appearance.

Jameson Locke is conspicuously absent in Halo Infinite, and 343 Industries has refrained from officially confirming his fate.
