Microsoft may buy Take-Two Interactive
Microsoft and publisher Take-Two Interactive are in talks about a major deal to make Take-Two part of Microsoft. This was reported by the Spanish portal SomosXbox, citing its own sources. However, no official confirmation has yet been received from the parties.
According to the source, the amount of the deal could become a stumbling block in a possible agreement. Note that the publisher Take-Two Interactive is worth $ 18 billion, which is twice the cost of ZeniMax, the parent company of Bethesda Softworks, which was acquired by Microsoft in March 2021.
For gamers, the deal could mean that all games developed by Take-Two Interactive will become part of Game Pass, as well as exclusives for Windows and XBOX platforms.
Take-Two Interactive is a globally renowned publisher with well-known studios such as Rockstar Games, 2K and Hangar 13. Take-Two Interactive has launched some of the most popular video game franchises, including Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, MAFIA, and more.
