American Red Cross to host Fall Guys charity tournament
American Red Cross, a nonprofit humanitarian organization, has selected entertainment company Allied Esports to host its first charity esports tournament and streaming event, "Rescue Royale," featuring Fall Guys.
This event, which was created to support disaster relief, features the participation of individuals in the Rescue Royale Fall Guys tournament.
Nathan Groes, Director of Consumer Fundraising, American Red Cross:“We're thrilled to launch our first esports Rescue Royale, a unique opportunity to provide life-saving relief to crisis-hit people across the country. Every day we see the grief and devastation caused by disasters, and we need the gaming community to get into the game and come to the rescue of those who need it. "
According to a press release, the top twenty entrants will win a free weekend trip to HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas on October 16 to play in the finals. In addition to the tournament itself, gamers and streamers can also register for a monthly stream-by-tone and raise funds at Tiltify.
Rescue Royale will kick off September 9 through October 16 with donations from the tournament, finals and streaming fundraising event in support of disaster relief for the Red Cross. Whether it's a single player campaign or a group campaign, the fundraising gamers will also compete for prizes.
