Rumor: the next State of Play will show the gameplay of the new part of God of War
Insider Shpeshal Nick announced on his Twitter account that the developers of God of War can show the gameplay of the new part at the upcoming presentation of State of Play. Users are already debating what the new Kratos game might look like. Some of them hope that the developers will return to the origins of the series in terms of gameplay and the game will position itself as a slasher. Others are hoping for a continuation of the series in the form of third-person adventure games.
State of Play will be due on July 8th. Sony said nothing about whether the gameplay of the new God of War will be shown. According to recent rumors, the Japanese tech giant may unveil a remaster of Bloodborne for PS5 and PC.
Last fall, Sony revealed that work is already underway on the next installment of God of War. According to some assumptions, the continuation of the game, which has moved into Scandinavian mythology, may receive the subtitle Ragnarok. As for the release date of the game, Hermann Hulst, the head of PlayStation Studios, said that God of War will have to visit store shelves and player consoles in 2022.
