GTA V Release Date Announced On PlayStation 5 And Xbox Series X/S Consoles

Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto V will be available for the next generation PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles on November 11, 2021. Rockstar Games also announced that a standalone edition of GTA Online will be released on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on the same day, while PlayStation owners will receive a special bonus.

As previously announced, the offline edition of GTA Online will be free on PS5 for the first three months ending February 2022. As a side note, PlayStation Plus PS4 subscribers are already enjoying themselves as they can receive $ 1M in GTA Online in-game cash every month until the game is released on PS5.

According to the developers, in the updated versions of GTA V and GTA Online there will be "new features and visual updates, performance improvements and a number of technical improvements," but Rockstar Games did not provide specific details. In their announcement, the developers claim that the game will be "more beautiful and responsive than ever."

GTA V has already sold 140 million copies since the game first debuted for Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2013. The game has grown over time, hitting PC, Xbox One and PS4, and is now gearing up for its next generation, which should bring even more sales.
