System requirements and features of Days Gone on PC
The former PlayStation console exclusive is gearing up for PC. A couple of months ago, Sony announced the release of the game on personal computers, finally abandoning the development of a sequel. Now the main features of the version have appeared, as well as the system requirements of the future project. Interestingly, Sony isn't going to push the PC too hard, as the recommended settings require a GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 580 GPU.
Minimum system requirements:
- Operating system: Windows 10 (64-bit).
- Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3 GHz or AMD FX-6300 3.5 GHz.
- Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4 GB).
- RAM: 8 GB.
- Free disk space: 70 GB.
Recommended system requirements:
- Operating system: Windows 10 (64-bit).
- Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5 GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X 3.5 GHz.
- Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 (8 GB).
- RAM: 16 GB.
- Free disk space: 70 GB (SSD is preferred).
Also, the developers shared some features that will or will not be available on the PC. For example, Days Gone on PC will support ultra-wide monitors (21: 9 and 32: 9), including kinematics and UI. In addition, Days Gone on PC will run at a base frame rate of 60 frames per second with recommended specs or an unlocked frame rate. However, support for DLSS and ray tracing is not yet foreseen. Also, in addition to the keyboard and mouse, Days Gone will support multiple controllers including DualShock 4, DualSense, and XBOX controllers.
