Sony has announced a partnership with the Discord service. As part of this deal, the service will be available on PlayStation consoles in early 2022. Note that the information was shared by the head of Sony Interactive Entertainment.
The Discord app will appear on both PlayStation consoles and the Sony mobile app. Ryan did not provide further details, but added that the company also made minority investments in Discord.
It is likely that this deal follows recent news from the Discord camp. Recall that the service decided to complete negotiations on its sale to Microsoft for $ 10 billion. Note that the company decided to maintain its independence, simultaneously refusing at least three corporations.
