Respawn is working on a new franchise

Respawn is producing a new product, a previously unannounced universe. This is evidenced by the search by Respawn staff for a new team member.

So far, a staff of 5 specialists is working on the new IP. They are looking for a coder in their team.

Most likely, the authors of the Titanfall dilogy and the Apex Legends battle royale are behind the development of the new game. Back in 2020, a separate in-house studio in Vancouver was opened to support the latter.

The creators of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order are not working on the new IP either. They are busy developing a sequel to the aforementioned game.
