Rumor: NVIDIA is preparing to release the GeForce RTX 3050
According to the portal VideoCardz, NVIDIA is developing the GeForce RTX 3050 video card, which will be the youngest option among the line on the Ampere architecture.
According to the source, the RTX 3050 will use the GA107 chip, also designed for the yet-to-be-released RTX 3050 Ti. It will be equipped with 2,048 CUDA cores and GDDR6 memory with a 128-bit 4GB bus. According to the source, the GeForce RTX 3050 will be presented only on laptops - no information has yet been received on the desktop version.
The RTX 3050 GPU is coming alongside Intel's Tiger Lake-H series processors. In this particular leak, the GPU appears alongside the Core i5-11400H, one of the slowest Tiger Lake-H processors in the series. According to the leak, this processor has a 2.7 GHz base clock speed and 4.5 GHz acceleration.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 series has already appeared on the ASUS website. It is possible that both variants (Ti and non-Ti) will launch at the same time.
