Square Enix recently did a big cleanup in Final Fantasy XIV. The MMORPG has blocked about 6 thousand accounts.
The main reason for bans is trading with real money. According to the developers, this upsets the balance between players in Final Fantasy XIV, and therefore such an activity is prohibited.
In addition, advertising of such activities is also prohibited. 814 accounts paid for this.
The original Final Fantasy XIV was released back in 2010, but was re-released in 2013. In early February, the game was announced a major addition Endwalker.
