Once again, mobile gaming brings big bucks to game creators. So, the mobile version of Genshin Impact has already brought the creators about $ 874 million, as evidenced by a recent calculation by the analyst firm Sensor Tower.
Genshin Impact took over the leading position in the mobile gaming market almost immediately after its release. In the period from September 28, 2020 to February 28, 2021, the game closed the top three most successful projects.
Only Honor of Kings ($ 1.2 billion in revenue) and PUBG Mobile ($ 1.1 billion in revenue) were ahead of Genshin Impact. However, the action RPG surpassed Pokemon GO ($ 651 million in revenue) and Roblox ($ 579 million in revenue).
