Media: Anthem's fate will be decided before the end of the week
One of these days the fate of the long-suffering Anthem should be decided. BioWare is preparing a dedicated Anthem 2.0 demo for EA's executives, Bloomberg reported.
In turn, EA will have to decide what to do with the game next. In total, there are two options: a full closure of the project, or the allocation of the necessary funds to continue working on the game.
They have been working on version 2.0 for over a year. Reimagining Anthem is the responsibility of a small team within BioWare, which numbers barely 30 people.
It is this small group that must "revive" the failed online action game. Rebirth means reworking almost every aspect of the game, from the loot system and equipment to the mission structure.
However, as Bloomberg reports, this number of specialists is clearly not enough. Such a global undertaking will require at least 100 developers.
