Resident Evil Village will be longer than the previous part
Resident Evil Village producer Peter Fabiano shared the details of the upcoming game. According to him, the developers are making full use of the PlayStation 5 features like fast loading and surround sound, and the game itself will be much longer than Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
The duration of Resident Evil Village Fabiano did not specify, saying only that the game will be "much more than what the players saw in the seventh part." Note that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard takes ten hours on average, which many fans of the series were not very happy about. Fabiano also talked about the effective use of the next generation SSD console: according to him, this will almost completely eliminate downloads, which will lead to more immersion in the game. Additional immersion will add 3D sound, which, according to the producer, "will envelop from all sides."
The Resident Evil Village release is scheduled for May 7, 2021. The game will be released on PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as on Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X. On January 22nd, Capcom released a demo of the game for the PlayStation 5.
