Digital Foundry conducted another test comparison of new generation consoles. This time, experts analyzed Remedy's Control photo mode.
The photo mode in the game removes the limitation on the frame rate per second. Thanks to this, it was possible to find out that the frame rate on the next-gen versions can be increased to 60.

So we managed to find out that the Xbox Series X, the performance in places is 9-10 frames higher than the PS5. However, it is likely that the power of the Microsoft video processor played a role here, which is 16-20% more than that of Sony.
The DFs also note that Remedy may incorporate a reduced resolution mode into Control. This in turn can guarantee a stable 60 FPS with retrace enabled.
