The space MMO EVE Online has broken another record. This time the game even managed to get into the Guinness Book of Records.

The record was set during a large-scale battle in the M2-XFE gaming sector. In the heat of the battle, 3404 spacecraft were destroyed with a total cost of 380 thousand dollars.

The battle was attended by two of the largest coalitions in the world of EVE Online: Imperium and PAPI. In a 14-hour battle, the first tried to recapture the star fortress from the second.

The winner in the battle was Imperium, who played into the hands of the sudden wipe of the servers. At the site of the "Massacre in the sector M2-XFE" developers will erect a monument in honor of all the fallen pilots.
