All GPUs will come in varieties. Some will have the same names, but at the same time differ in the number of nominal frequencies and turbo frequencies. NVIDIA is also going to release video cards from the Founders Edition series, which will feature a more impressive number of CUDA cores and the amount of memory available on board. In addition, such video cards will have Max-Q technology with reduced power consumption.

The differences between video cards are so quantitative and significant that NVIDIA recommends laptop manufacturers to indicate not only the model of the video card, but also all its specifications, since the power of the GPUs can vary up to 30%.

Late last year, NVIDIA debuted GPUs based on the new Ampere architecture for PCs. Due to the fact that the rate of cryptocurrencies is constantly growing, and at the start of sales there was a shortage of video cards, the cost of the latter exceeds the recommended one by more than two times. Later, and specifically at the beginning of this year, new video cards for laptops were presented.
