Ahead of the upcoming release of Nioh 2 on PC, series director Fumihiko Yasuda has revealed plans for Team Ninja. Basically, the conversation focused on the main series of the team: Nioh and Ninja Gaiden.
According to Fumihiko, there are no plans for Nioh 3 yet. A return to the series is possible, but only after working on other projects. It also became known that Nioh will not appear on the consoles of a direct competitor to Sony Microsoft.
There are also no plans for a sequel to Ninja Gaiden. Again, it is possible, but not in the foreseeable future.
In addition, Fumihiko shared Team Ninja's wishes. The studio would like to create an open-world game with a high degree of action and saturation.
