2020 Steam Awards Winners Announced

Valve has announced the winners of the annual Steam Awards 2020. The Game of the Year, according to Steam users, is Red Dead Redemption 2 from Rockstar Games.

Half-Life: Alyx became the best VR game of the year, while Counter-Strike: Global Offensive became the winner in the Favorite Child category. Death Stranding was rated as the "Most Innovative Gameplay" game by users, and Red Dead Redemption 2 was voted "Best Game with an Outstanding Story".

Other winners in key categories:

• Best Soundtrack - Doom Eternal;
• Sit Back - The Sims 4;
• Best Game You Don't Get Away - Apex Legends;
• Outstanding Visual Style - Ori and the Will of the Wisps;
• "A friend is known in the game" - Fall Guys.

For nominating titles, players could unlock the Quality Game Selection Committee badge. He has several levels that increase as you complete tasks. For each level, you can get 25 experience points for your Steam profile.
