The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth has a major update

The authors of The Binding of Isaac are preparing to delight fans of the infamous roguelike. In a recent video, they announced the release date for the Repentance update.

New content will arrive on PC on March 31st, but console users will have to wait. What exactly awaits us in the Repentance add-on in the list below:

• Alternative options for passing with different final bosses and endings;
• 130+ items;
• 100+ opponents;
• 25+ bosses;
• 2 new playable characters;
• 5 new challenges;
• 100+ new achievements;
• 5000+ new level designs.

As the creator of the game Edmund McMillen notes, the Repentance expansion can be considered a full-fledged sequel. It will bring more content to the game than the original Rebirth version.
