Recently, the sites of the Japanese gaming company Koei Tecmo have ceased to function. They were closed in order to avoid a possible cyberattack.
Learned from the bitter experience of Capcom, Koei Tecmo decided to play it safe in advance. The company has already begun an investigation, but is in no hurry to share details.
As mentioned above, we have already witnessed major cyber attacks on Japanese corporations. In November, a group of hackers called Ragnar Locker was behind this, which stole over 1 TB of Capcom corporate data.
