Steam continues to bring Valve a lot of money and does not lose its popularity given the presence of competitors on the market in the face of EGS and other platforms. Valve recently shared the statistics of the big fall Steam sale, which ran from November 25 to December 1. Briefly about the main thing:
- The fall event became the largest in history, bringing record revenue to publishers and developers;
- Almost a million users made their first purchase on the platform between November 25 and December 1;
- The maximum number of Steam users during the sale was 24 million.
Valve also shared some small statistics regarding the annual Steam Awards. So, this year 5.3 million users voted for more than 30 million games. By the way, the presentation of the award itself should take place at the end of the year, during the annual winter sale.
