On 3 March 2009 the CS:GO championship Intel Extreme Masters III European Championship Finals ended up. The prize pool was $50,000. At the final the win was gained by the players from MTw, and the main money reward was $25,000.
In 2011 Natus Vincere won at Intel Extreme Masters V. The prize pool of the fifth season of IEM was $80,000. Na’Vi got the main money reward of $35,000.
In 2016 Intel Extreme Masters X - World Championship was won by the team Fnatic. The prize pool of the championship was $250,000. Fnatic got $104,000 with their win.
In 2017 Astralis won at Intel Extreme Masters XI - World Championship. The money reward and the prize pool was the same as the previous season of IEM — World Championship.
