Astro's Playroom may get a sequel
Japan Studio head Nicolas Doucet recently gave more interviews to Edge magazine. It also touched on the PlayStation 5 exclusive, Astro's Playroom.
Nicolas has not transparently hinted that the game could get expanded or get a full-fledged sequel. However, the final word rests with the players. Doucet noted that Astro's Playroom has received a flurry of positive reviews from the media and critics, but casual users play a key role.
Their feedback is extremely important when considering whether to continue playing. During the conversation, the head of Japan Studio also confirmed that they are continuing to experiment with DualSense controllers, opening up new facets.
Astro's Playroom is the only free preinstalled game on PlayStation 5. It showcases the power of the DualSense controller in all its glory, and has earned critical and media acclaim. At the time of publication of the material, Astro's Playroom has 82 points out of 100 possible on the Metacritic service.
