Where are the Vikings stronger?
After the release of the PlayStation 5 in some countries of the world, the console war is predictably reaching a new level. Now users with peace of mind can prove their case by doing - by testing games on both systems.
So did the NX Gamer channel, which compared the main game of the fall Assassin's Creed: Valhalla on the Xbox Series and PS5. The funny thing is that the test results were almost identical.
Both consoles support dynamic 4K resolution running at 60 FPS with occasional drawdowns. The difference between the two here is that the PS5 uses vertical sync, while the Xbox Series X uses adaptive sync with breaks as the frequency drops.
There is also a difference in loading times. Thanks to its SSD, the PS5 loads games 5-12% faster. It will take approximately 20 seconds to launch on a Sony console, while an Xbox will take approximately 53 seconds.
As a result, the perceived advantage still belongs to the PlayStation5. The Sony console loads the game faster and produces a slightly smoother picture.
