Not surprisingly, in Japan, all copies of the PlayStation 5 console were sold out on pre-orders. The Japanese division of the PlayStation reported on the success.
On top of that, anyone who didn't pre-order the PS5 on release day will be left without a console. In Japan, the console will not go on sale in stores due to the height of the coronavirus pandemic. However, Sony will make additional supplies in the future.
PlayStation 5 launches on November 12 in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Korea, Japan and Australia. In the rest of the world, the console will go on sale on November 19.
